Who Can Join?

The Kawartha Youth Orchestra (KYO) welcomes students aged 8 to 28 residing in the Kawartha and Greater Peterborough areas. We encourage our musicians to actively participate in their school’s music programs. To enhance their musical journey, we recommend that all KYO members, both prospective and current, pursue private lessons on their primary instrument. Our team is ready to assist you with information on private instruction opportunities.

We believe everyone should have the chance to experience music! That’s why we keep our tuition fees reasonable and offer financial aid to those who need it.

Here’s how we make music accessible.
