Volunteer at KYO

Volunteer with KYO to share your skills, empower young musicians, and help us sustain our passion for music.

Volunteering at KYO

Many minds and hands make light work of the numerous tasks and small projects required to sustain delivery of The Orchestras and UPBEAT! programs.

Volunteers with specialized technical skill sets (i.e., musical instrument knowledge, photography, digital recording, post-production) amplify our knowledge and talent base. Volunteers with operational, administrative, and organizational skill sets (i.e., bookkeeping, data management, resource management, event coordination) improve the efficiency of our day-to-day operations.

We’re looking for volunteers for our UPBEAT! program, including kitchen help with meal prep and service. No musical skills are needed, and students are welcome. Whether you’re managing, directing children, or helping with setup/teardown and cleanup, your contribution will have a lasting impact. If you’re passionate about supporting young lives through music, we’d love to have you join us!

Volunteers with a desire to empower young people by giving back through music, build excellence and sustain our commitment to inspiring a love for music and a passion to share it.

Whether you have specialized skills or simply a passion for music and community service, there’s a place for you in our volunteer team.
